Our Execution

Akila frames are handcrafted from plant-based acetate and stainless steel with Optical Class 1 nylon lenses. Each style goes through meticulous design, engineering and production processes to ensure top quality eyewear.  Every pair of sunglasses takes over 90 days to complete and requires nearly 100 steps from start to finish.

 

Akila frequently launches new collections and has a proven track record of attracting loyal customers who make purchases time and time again. We leaned on creative rotation, collab launches, and expanded on other advertising platforms to push products, resulting in a 19X in spend over the course of 24 months.  

Akila was successful in audience targeting by constantly raising the bar with audience selection, creative placements, and strategic promotions in various parts of the marketing funnel.

As we continued to scale ad spend, our goal was to also reduce CPA metrics.  Originally, top of the funnel users on average were acquired near $80.  Within six months of account restructure, our CPA decreased down to $54.  Over the course of our relationship and constant optimization, we've been able to lower down to $35. 

Fast forward to 2021, Akila has expanded internationally.  They've been able to raise capital funding, expand to brick and mortar stores, and hire staff.  Recently, Akila has collaborated with Grateful Dead to create a stunning pair of sunglasses.
